Goats are domesticated animals that belong to the species Capra aegagrus hircus and are known for their agility and curious nature. They have been kept by humans for thousands of years and are raised for milk, meat, wool, and skins. Goats are herbivores, feeding mainly on grass, leaves, and shrubs, and they have a strong sense of smell and excellent vision. Social animals by nature, goats prefer living in herds and can communicate through bleats that carry different meanings. They are very agile, able to climb steep hills and even trees in some regions. Female goats are called does, males are bucks, and their babies are known as kids. Goat milk is nutritious and easier to digest than cow milk for many people, while some breeds produce soft wool called cashmere. Goats are intelligent, playful, and sometimes mischievous, capable of learning simple tasks quickly
